An initiative by EdelGive Foundation, UdyamStree is a launchpad for those ambitious women who dream to Start their own enterprises but do not have enough family or financial support. We believe that economic independence is a major component of women empowerment. Women-led businesses currently provide direct employment to an estimated 22 to 27 million people. Growth in the number and size of women-owned businesses could generate 150 to 170 million additional jobs by 2030.
Understanding the importance of finding a solution to prevalent problems that hinder women’s economic growth in different parts of the country, especially rural India, #UdyamStree Campaign was launched by EdelGive Foundation in October 2020. Our ‘Landscape study on Women Entrepreneurship’ renders a detailed insight into the different factors that influence women’s entrepreneurial journeys in India.

Engaging and partnering with corporates, funders, influencers, and experts which could bring change at community and policy level.
Building awareness on existing state of women entrepreneurship and information on schemes and entitlements which could help aspiring women entrepreneurs in realising their dreams.
